People in Northern Ireland care deeply about our society - how people are treated, how nature is protected, and the quality of the services we all rely on to live healthy and safe lives. But with unstable politics and too many decisions made behind closed doors, many of us feel let down and unheard.
Act Now exists to change that. From starting petitions and pooling our ideas for powerful tactics, to contacting politicians and capturing media attention, there’s so much we can do when we act together.
We grew out of a partnership between digital campaigning organisations 38 Degrees (UK) and Uplift (Republic of Ireland), before becoming an independent, people-powered company in 2023. We’re a lean team with a cutting edge tech platform and a community of 30,000 and growing!

Act Now was incorporated as an independent Company Limited by Guarantee in 2023. We don’t take funding from corporations, banks, or government.
Our independence means our campaigns always serve the public good and reflect the voices of our members.
